【PERSONAL PROFILE】

Dr. Zhang graduated from Chongqing University (Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering, 2008.06). After getting his doctorate, he joined Chongqing University (2009.04) to carry out teaching/research work. He has presided 2 Projects supported National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), 3 Projects supported by Chongqing Science and Technology Bureau. He has published more than 20 papers in journals such as Redox Biology；International Journal of Biological Macromolecules, etc. Moreover, he has applied and obtained 2 patents of inventions. Current courses taught by Dr. Zhang include Cell Technology and Engineering, Bioengineering and Pharmaceutical Engineering, etc. He has supervised 7 master students.

【RESEARCH INTERESTS】

1. Mechano-biological regulation mechanism of cell proliferation, differentiation and tissue development and repair.

2. Preparation technology and product development of recombinant protein drugs and natural active products.

3. Development and application of 3D cell culture technology
