【PERSONAL PROFILE】

Dr. Xingming Guo graduated from Chongqing University (Ph.D. in Manufacturing Engineering, 1994.06). He joined Chongqing University (1994.09) to carry out teaching/research work. He has presided 3 Projects supported National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), 10 Projects supported by Ministry of Education and Chongqing Science and Technology Commission. He has published 20 papers in journals such as Biomedical Signal Processing and Control, Computer Methods and Programs in Biomedicine, Expert Systems with Applications, etc.. Moreover, he has applied and obtained 8 patents of inventions. Current courses taught by Dr. Xingming Guo include Medical Imaging Technology, Medical Imaging Techniques and Instruments, EngineeringPrinciples and Medical Applications, etc. He has supervised 53 master students and 5 Ph.D. students, 3 of whom have won the Chongqing Distinguished Master Thesis, one of whom have won the Chongqing Distinguished Doctorial Thesis.
