【PERSONAL PROFILE】

Dr. Zongli Hu graduated from Chongqing University (Ph.D. in biomedical engineering, 2005.06). Later, she joined Chongqing University (2005.10) to carry out teaching/research work. She has presided one project supported by National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), four projects supported by Ministry of Education, Chongqing Science and Technology Commission. She has published more than 90 papers in SCI journals such as Plant Physiology, Journal of  Experimental  Botany, Plant and cell physiology, etc (containing One ESI paper). Many papers were highlighted by media such as plant research, etc. Moreover, she has applied and obtained 17 patents of inventions. Current courses taught by Dr. Zongli Hu include Molecular Biology, Genetics, etc. She has supervised 28 master students and 8 Ph.D. students.

【RESEARCH INTERESTS】

1.The study of molecular mechanism of plant growth and development, and fruit ripening;

2. The study of molecular mechanism of resistance genes and stresses;

3. The application research of gene engineering and protein expression and purification.
